One of my favorite places to hike, I learned a lot from this painting and hope it shows in a few more paintings soon. I'm a little behind for the year, so I need to spend some of these awful hot days working on my art.

Some success at Arts in the Park in Danville Illinois. Very Happy with the showing at my home town.  

Drifted Country Road - 12 X 16

I've had a lot of fun doing a few of these quick mini paintings for Arts in the Park. This particular scene I am sure is going to get done on a larger canvas. This is the third painting I've done from a magical Christmas morning ride out to my property. 4 Wheel drive was a must on this particular drive.
